Stock 19"s and Falken fk-452's
 

Well it's time to get some new tires for my 05 coupe w/ factory 19"s.

I've done some searching on here and see that the sizes that seem to be recommended to keep the VDC happy are:

Front

245/35-19

Rear

255/40-19

Now, I am wondering if getting 235/35-19's for the front and 245/40-19's in the rear will work with the VDC system without problems.

I use my car for daily driving and rarely dive it hard, so the extra traction is not needed for me. I would rather get better gas mileage.

I'm also looking for a place in SoCal that can get me a good deal on these tires too :P

stay with whatever the stock size, the 452 are great- untill you hit 400 wheel HP =(

The FK-452's are not available in stock sizes for the front. The rears are ok (245/40-19). For the front (225/40-19), "close" sizes are:

225/35-19 (3.4% too small)
235/35-19 (2.3% too small)

So what sizes are you guys running to keep the VDC and everything happy? My car is an '06 G35 Coupe.

You can go with some Toyo T1-R's. They come in stock sizes.

I have these falken 452's:
Front: 245/35/19
Rear: 255/40/19

on my OEM coupe 19s and they are great

i have Falken 452's on my stock 19's 245/40/19 front and rear... i have no VDC issues...

i dont see a problem with going 235/35/19 front... might be a little small but it would work...

sfgr415 Toyo T1R's suck...

235/35/19 wont work on the front with the 255/40 on the rear. It makes the VDC go crazy and throws codes.

245/35/19 & 255/40/19 has worked for countless people so far with no problem with VDC.

Front: 245/35/19
Rear: 255/40/19

as stated above... I haven't had many issues w/the VDC but on certain turns it seems a little too "cautious" and i get the slip light to come on and VDC to kick in... but all in all the tires have been wonderful on the car. haven't had time to hit the track yet.
