G37 19's on 2006 G35X sedan
I have a set of 19" G37 Wheels that I am looking to put on my 2006 G35X. Will the staggered wheels do damage to the drive train? I was looking to run 225-40-19's all around.

As long as you are running the same width tires on all 4 wheels, you should be fine. I would probably go 235's or 245's all around though.
For example: a 225/40/19 tire measures 82" total diameter. a 255/35/19 tire also measures 82" total diameter. |

Width shouldn't matter...tire diameter is what matters. As long as all the tires are the same size in height, the car can't tell the difference if it's staggered or not.

Good point, but not all tire companies have the exact same measurements for total diameter on their tires.

Correct...but as long as all 4 tires are from the same company then it won't matter.
225/40/19 for nitto invo's have an inflated diameter of 26.18 inches 793 revs a mile 255/35/19 for nitto invo's have an inflated diameter of 26.10 inches 796 revs a mile. I know its only .08 off, so it probably won't make much of a difference, but its not an exact match either... |

Not necessarily. Even tires from the same manufacturer will be off. within their sizes...

BTW- I said diameter above and meant circumference...though it doesn't make a difference...the point is still the same. |
Thanks for the info guys. Much appreciated!
