Are these tires too small on 18" Nismo LMGT4 rims?

Hello. I'm a new member on this forum and also a new G driver. First of all, I want to say Hello to everyone :). My G is bone stock. I found a guy who is selling his LMGT4 wheels for a great price. He is selling rims and tires as a package and he does not want to separate them. Here is the specs of rims and tires: 18x8.5 +25 235/40 and 18x9.5 +30 265/35 and they are White LMGT4 Nismo rims. As far as i know, the stock sizes for tires are 225/45/18 front and 245/45/18 rear. But this guy is using 235/40/18 fronts and 265/35/18 rears, are these too small for our car? If they are too small, what would be the correct tire size on 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 wide rims? And one more thing, our car is RWD, so which wheels will affect the mileage on our car (fronts or rears)? Please help me out, I'm very interested in these wheels since they are in White so i dont want to miss out this deal. Well, that is it. Thanks everyone.

245/40 front and 275/40 rear are the proper size tires for those wheels and your car.

I've seen Nismo wheels run with these tire sizes before but i did not know that they are proper size tires. Thanks for that info.

Can I use 245/45/18 up fronts since I got 245/45/18 from the rears of my OEM wheels, i might want to switch them to the fronts for the Nismo wheels. They are still in good condition with a lot of tread left, so I think that's a good way to save money. So all I need to do is buying 2 new tires for rears, and they are will be 275/40 for sure.

Go to tire manufacturer website and see what is recommended rim width for given size of tire.
Make sure that tire outside diameter is the same

What do you mean by the tire outside diameter is the same? This could be a stupid question but i'm a newbie here.
I'll try to look up the size on the tire manufacturer website. Thanks for the info.
