i know they stretch about the same, but i wanna know which set-up stretches more.

The rears are 20x12 -4. In an ideal world (being as frugal as possible) I would run a 285/30 that's already available to me. Would it be possible to pull the fenders enough so I wouldn't have to run retarded camber and could run the 285/30's? I'm trying to stay away from ridiculous stretch on the tires because local shops here had trouble even mounting a 255/30 on an 11". Adon's ride has been giving me a pretty good idea of what to expect, and I thought I read he was running a 285/30 or a 275/25. Thanks in advance.
Whats the max amaount of camber you want to run? With a healthy pull and about -5 you can fit those in the back.

295 will rub without camber or a pull.

Thanks for the advice! -5 Isn't too bad, I've been at -3.5 before with a previous set up. Did I read correctly that something around a degree of additional neg. camber will help tuck 5mm more of wheel/tire? So is it rational to assume that with something like a 275/30 tire I could eliminate a degree of camber or close to?

will 19x9.5 +22 with 275/35 tire fit in the rear? I don't have a problem rolling the fenders.

Every degree of camber is 5mm in offset change. To answer the second portion it's kind of a yes and no. It really depends how the tire stretches weather or not it will really give you 10mm more clearance or not. 10mm in tread width usually will only warrant 5mm in clearance (side to side) However some tires just seat differently. But a 275 will definitely help you reduce some camber. And remember your camber will be FULLY adjustable with camber arms, so even if you switch to a 275 and 1 degree can't be removed then a .9 will probably do the trick, know what I'm sayin?

small, true, large tires for stretch.

ok. its time to decide on TIRES...

can anyone tell me what is the best looking "safe" tire to put on 19x9.5/10.5 +22?

im currently leaning towards a "true" or "large" size fitment on tires... im open for some suggestions...

My Tire Options

archilles (but afraid that the will run a bit small) really digging this tread.

hankook v12 (true) or something close to it.. but a bit pricey.

falken 452 (large) or something around this price range.

best price, best looking, ride comfort, tire life, functionality on rough roads.

thanks in advanced.!

last I checked, 452s run small. I like the v12s all around design - my fav out of your list.

Am I right in thinking if I go from a 285 to a 265 tire I can gain an extra 10mm in wheel fender clearance? Think I found my answer above...

Achilles have proven to be fantastic cambered and stretched tires.

Hankooks have proven to bubble and wear too quickly

Falkens are ****

In all honesty, I'd go with the achilles out of them, they run sorta small but not to the point where it's ugly.

FKs differ have way through the widths, below 255 run small and above 275 run large. Falken is terrible for that.

Quick question for you guys
I'm lowering my 04 Coupe this weekend. Im running 20x11 275/30 rear & 20x10 245/30 front +15 all around.

I'm dropping around 1" back and 1.5" front. What would i need when it comes to camber/toeing?

My question is do I need front & rear camber kit? What about toe kits?
