Wheels don't fit!

I just bought a set of 19x9.5 +10 & 19x10.5 +17 work vsxx wheels. I put the back 2 on and they cleared the brembo caliper by a hair so I drop it down and go to reverse and scratched some paint off the caliper! So I guess a 5mm spacer should do the trick...

The other problem is when I went to see if the fronts will fit, I couldn't get the wheel all the way on b/c there's some stud thing in between the lug studs that rubs on the back of the wheel preventing it from going all the way on... Does anyone know what this thing is?? Can I remove it or do I need to shave my wheels down in the back so this thing can fit? I PM'd the guy who supposedly bought these wheels and had them on his G with brembos to see what he did, but I got them from the 2nd owner who has a 350 w/no brembos... Any help is appreciated

hmm stud thing

pics?

remove the extra stud. Most autoparts stores sell a 3mm universal spacer that you can use in the rear. That should be enough to clear the brembos without replacing the studs

I think he is talking about the little thick washer that Infiniti puts on so that you don't accidentally put the rear tires on the front. You can remove it with a 6mm or 8mm socket. It doesn't serve any other purpose.

+1, just remove the extra stud. its not needed

thanks guys I was wondering if it served any purpose and it did look like I could get a wrench on there but didnt attempt taking it off, but now I will and do you think a 3mm spacer will be enough to clear the brembos? They just scraped the caliper enough to rub some paint off but they still will move so they're real close... You think I can get away with not replacing the studs when adding the spacer?

Ok I'm gonna need a 5mm spacer on the back and 10mm spacer up front with longer studs... I also gotta roll my fenders. Are all spacers the same? What would make brand better than another?
