Thanks for clearing all that up LightsOut.

I'm going to order the Ichiba V2's tonight... still debating, 25mm all around, or 20mm Front & 25mm Rear.

I'm on stock height... so I guess the best thing to do is measure like how the Ichiba website explains it.

if you plan on keeping 245's all around then 25mm (x4) will be a wrong choice

All my tires are new, so I'll be keeping them for a while, especially the fronts at 245/35/19 as the fronts don't wear out as fast as the rears.

However, in the rears, I kept the OEM size... but if I do need to change them in the future, I'll probably go with a 255/40/19.

I guess with my current set-up, I'm leaning more towards a 20mm Front and 25mm Rear.

I'll take it that this... would be the right choice?

20/25 would be your best choice. keeps your rear wheel slightly pushed out more than the front.

25 up front makes it look clean and flush while the rear is still sitting in the fender, especially if you have 245's all around. Same goes for 255's with 25's all around, but I do feel the front is still pushed out more. Some agree while some dont...


the true best choice is 25/30.. still deabting if I should jump to 30, will see.

Hey LightsOut,

So I quickly looked and measured last night and I'm not sure if 25mm in the Rears will rub the fender lip/edge. Again, I'm at stock height, OEM 19's, with 245/40/19. Did you have to roll your rear fender lip/edge?

For the Fronts, it looks like 20mm is the right choice. Again, at stock height, OEM 19's, with 245/35/19.

at stock height you wont need to roll fenders, nor would you need to roll fenders with a larger wheel. Only time I recommend to roll fenders is when your lowered.

its been proven now that you can get away with 245's in the rear while being lowered and not required a fender roll. But 255's and lowered yes.

front fenders are pre rolled, no need to touch the front.

go out and feel your front fenders and compare them to the rears and you'll see what I mean.

I held off on ordering the Ichiba's last night... so I'll do it tonight or before the end of the week.

All the bolts should be torqued to 80-90 ft/lbs. right?

Wait, now that I think about it... when you torque down the V2 Ichiba Spacers to the Hub and try to tighten it, won't the Hub turn as you try to tighten the 5 bolts, especially in the Fronts? The rears, I guess you can just pull the handbrake up so it won't turn as your tighten.

just have someone step on the brake pedal.

if you were told to tighten them to 80-90 then do it. I just torqued the bolts to what I felt was tight enough, I used a cross bar. Spacers have been taking off and put back on without any issues.

I've never agreed to 235 size front tire. But for your wheel size setup got 25 all around.

Leo, there's a guy local to me who has Ichiba V2 20/25s for sale, studs pre-installed and hub-centric rings, practically brand new. PM or MSN for the hookup.
