Disableing the TPM system??

Does anyone know how to diable the TPM system my light comes on after about 20 minutes of driving, and goes off when i restart the car, but all my tires are at the right pressure its really driving me nuts. Can it be disabled were the light wont come on???

I was thinking the same thing but lucky me it only comes on after about an hour of nonstop driving

My car does the same thing. Unfortunately, I don't think here's anything you can do to disable the system. I've searched high and low with a few manufacturers. I change out wheels often on my frontier and didn't want to buy 2nd sensors so I made a sealed can out of a 4" PVC pipe coupler plugged at both ends. Drilled for a valve stem and have all the sensors in the can with 35psi in it. I don't know if it's the temp stability in the can or what, but the light has not come on in 2 years since I did this. I'll do the G when I swap to winter tires.

That's an interesting work around.

Just incase there is any confusion, the sensors still have to be in the vehicle. Speaking of which, does any body know where the hub for the sensors is? Like where the sensors sense to? On my truck I'm told it is beside a yaw sensor in the center, but I heard the G uses the abs sensors at each wheel??? Anybody know this?

They transmit to the BCM through the same receiver as your power door lock remote. It needs to be a sensor that receives RF.

Sounds like you need them recalibrated by the dealer

Thanks Coach.

I was affriad if they transmitted to the wheel speed sensors, having them in the can in the trunk wouldnt work. No reason why it would be diferent from my truck i guess.

Thanks.
