Stretching 245's on 20x10
I sprung a leak on one of my rear tires, and while debating over replacing the 275/30/20's that are on there now with 35 series, my brother suggested I take my 245/35/20's from my front wheels and stretch them over my rears since I'm going to be ordering spacers and rolling my fenders when I put the spacers on anyway.
Those of you with experience stretching tires, particularly if you've done 245's across 10" wide wheels, is this possible? Good/bad idea? If I end up doing it, what should I throw on the front 20x9's to get a close look? 225/35/20? I'm currently running Axis MOD 20x9(+37) in front and 20x10(+38) in the rear with Falken 452's 245/35/20 and 275/30/20, respectively. As for the spacers, I'm thinking of getting a pair 25mm and seeing what they look like and determining what the other pair size will be after I throw the 25mm pair on one side. Thanks, guys. PS: I'm still learning, so please bear with my ignorance on this subject. |
you wont need a stretch with those offsets and even if a 25mm spacer all around you still wouldnt need a stretch. Dont stretch if you dont have too.
btw im running a 215/35 on a 9 and a 225/35 on a 10 only because i need too. |

The thing about this is that I will need to replace my tires before the spacers even come in, let alone getting around to rolling the fenders. I kinda just wanna be prepared I guess. |
