Why do you recommend an all season?

I have the V12s on my 06 Coupe. Got them at the beginning of summer (when I got my car), and drove on them all summer. I've put 16000KM (roughly 10000 miles) on them in 6 months, and the treadwear (or lack thereof) is very impressive. I would highly recommend these tires, especially for the price I paid compared to what I was being offered for other brands ($700CDN installed, instead of $1500CDN+ locally for Bridgestone and the likes)

Let us know what you do and how it turns out!

i just ordered some, pretty excited, i just got the car used and it had michelin pilot sports on there, i just can't justify spending 300 bucks or more a tire since i really don't use the car for racing, just having fun from time to time.

i've got a little life left in the pilots, ill let them burn out, then throw the ventus's on. Sounds like i will be mappy. I talked to Neal at tirerack.com and he told me i should be pleased, i recently had a post about what type of tires i should have, and everyone reccomended the hankooks for the most part. sounds like some people are unhappy with the kumho's from what i've heard.

I don't want all that side wall. Lips are rolled, but still don't want or need all that rubber out back and the combination of either 225/40 front or 245/35 front with 255/35 Rear is perfect.

I dont understand, my rear hankooks are wearing FAST.
i've had them for maybe 3-4k and i dont drive really hard or launch or anything.
And my tread is almost gone. My alignment is all good too!

No idea why on a RWD sports coupe the rears would wear faster!

Thats not what i meant smart ***.

I'm curious as to why im only getting what seems like 5k on my tires when people say they get like 10k or so. Do the hankooks just not last long in general or what?

Did you buy your fronts and rears at the same time? What are their sizes?

I stand by what I said
