20mm/25mm or 25mm/30mm spacers with OEM 19's
I'm currently running 245/35/19 front and 265/35/19 rear tires on oem 19's and am installing coilovers and front and rear camber kits as we speak. Aftermarket wheels are on the way but house payments come first :( For now I have to live with OEM's a while longer so am going to just get some spacers. It seems that most people are using 25/20 spacers but I'm wondering if 30/25 would be too wide. I will be rolling my rear fenders and want to drop the car as low as possible without any rubbing. I'm looking for as much aggressive look as I can get if that's even really possible with OEM's.

If you roll the rears you should be good I'd imagine. I ran 25mm in the back with a 255/40/19 and had no issues after a slight roll :biggthumpup: Front, no roll and I've got 245's up there now no rub :BOUNCE:

im running 25 all around, and got 255/40/19 with a z-htech drop and had to roll my fenders

I will be rolling my fenders regardless. Just wondering if 30mm with 265/35/19's will be too much or if it's even worth it for 5mm extra.

I say 25F and 30R. If your gonna roll your fenders than do it.

I unno for sure, but 20/25 seemed big to me when I put em on if you drive hard regularly, I would have been a bit uncomfy personally with that much spacer when driving agressive. :driving:

i've been running 25 all around going on towards a year now and have had no problems, even with a good amount of spirited driving :D |
For you guys running the 25mm, did you replace the stock studs with longer ones or go with the spacer with studs already attached (ichiba v2 I think). I would prefer to just replace with longer studs in order to reduce points for failure if that makes sense. Seems to me that bolting the spacer to the car, then bolting the wheel to the spacer would be weaker but I could be wrong... no science behind this just a gut feeling.

I went V2's (Ichiba) Once you're 10mm or so out, you start losing threads on the stock studs and there in lies the majority of problems I've heard of with spacers. Better to get replacement/built in studs on the spacers for the best strength/grip possible. :biggthumpup:

I'm running with the extended studs built in the spacers.

ok, thanks for all the input guys. Looks like 25/20 so I can get a good drop without rubbing. Hmmm... that sounded kinda weird.
