FS: What's the BEST Winter Tires from this site
 

what would you guys recommend me buying for my 2003 G35 Coupe? I am currently on 18" Rims and is going to swap the summer tires with the winters

Im From CANADA and theres snow down here in Edmonton so I need them asap. Im kinda leaning towards the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3.

Probably your best bet on that site and given availability. If you can get Hakk's, I would opt for that. They are very good winter tires.

Well this is the only site that I know that sells winter tires within Canada's currency, Unless you have another site for me :) KEEP IN MIND GUYS, IT SNOWS CRAZY DOWN HERE. I CANNOT AFFORD TO GET STUCK IN THIS WEATHER

I am also planning to pick up Axis Penta - Hyper Black 19" or 20" Rims What size do you guys think is a good size for summer time and do you guys know a good site where I can buy them for cheap? Thanks

try looking at the vendor post, they have some nice wheels on here forsale, maybe you'll get a decent price since you're a member on this forums

Some local shops come close to pricing online, so keep that in mind.

How about Nokian WRG2
 

When I bought my G35 coupe, it had some nearly-new Faulken tires. Unfortunatley, it woudn't budge with even a light dusting of snow on the road.

So, I put those into storage and purchased some Nokian WRG2s. They have been spectacular for winter and wet driving (actually, I run them year round). They are not cheap, but I think you get what you pay for.

I live in Ohio (Dayton area), we had a blizzard 2 years ago which dumped about 6-8 inches in the first hour. Folks in SUVs were not moving as well as me in my 2005 G35 coupe.

In addition to the WRG2s, I put about 200 lbs of weights in the trunk (100 lbs over each tire).

I'm toying with the idea of buying a spare set of wheels so I can run my nearly-new Faulkens in spring, summer and early fall (to make the Nokians last longer).

I had the Michelin Alpin's on my coupe last winter here in Chicago.
They held up pretty good, never got stuck, but i didn't drive it if there was alot of snow.
Ohh and i had about 100lb in my truck which helped out alot!

i live and die by Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 in the snow with my RWD G. Never got stuck in Utah, great handling in the dry since they are designed with a higher speed rating as well. Otherwise, blizzaks have soem decent 'sportier' snow tires. . .

PA3 would work well in low to moderate snow climates that see a lot of plowing. If you have a lot of accumulation or harsher conditions the Michelin XI2 would be a better bet.

is it ok to use the same tire size all around? I have a 2003 coupe non brembo on 17's

If a coupe, has to be stagg different sizes front/rear to keep the VDC happy.
