Here they are installed. It took a few minutes of getting used to, but now I like them a lot. The 19's on Martin's car look better I'll admit, but I'm too performance oriented to go 19's. What do you guys think? I'm considering ditching the 350z suspension and going with Eibachs and Sport Struts, it may bring it down another half inch or so, what do you think?

yeah.. i agree with you that 19"s would look a little bit better, but even so, your car looks good now.. good choice and yes, swap the suspension..

Ahh here's the thread haha, yes im very performance oriented and yes these wheels are heavy but they have their advantages, wider 19's = crazy handling and grip for modded cars! Anyway they look great man =)

Awesome look. I like.
I was looking at 19's, but have decided to stick to 18's when I get new rims. I drive my car alot to work and for cost benefits, the 18's would be cheaper. Plus I want to do 18 x 8 all the way around for tire rotation.
A few questions.
What are the offsets of the tires, front and rear.
And what did the whole package cost you and from where. If you don't mind me asking.

The offset of the RIMS are +38mm.

I went 245/45/18 all the way around because I got such an awesome deal on them. Next time I'm going to run 235 and 265 as the 245's stretch a little bit on the rear. The 245's clear in the front fine. If you go 18x8 I'd run 235 front, 245 rear.

Surprisingly, just the looks of the rear of the car with 245's looks a lot better (like from directly behind).

Cost: I got a super hookup on the rims because an old friend of mine distributes them, he sells them on ebay (henrikgal). I can't disclose the price, but his regular prices are below everyone else out there.

Tires:
Ebay, Goodyear Eagle RS-A's for $185 + shipping. He said they had 75% tread left and I was skeptical, but when I got them my jaw dropped. Unbelievable, he could've said 100 miles on them and I would've been happy. There's so much tread on them. tirerack.com would've cost $864 shipped to my door, so I paid 1/4 of that.

Install:
First place, a Firestone service center took the car in and then called back saying only infiniti can move the tire pressure sensors over. I said, NO people do it all the time; they refused service.

I headed over to Discount Tire Co (where I told myself I should've gone in the first place) and they were able to do everything. I had to buy new lugs (and I bought wheellocks too). They charged me their regular rates + $8/tire to move the sensors into the new wheels. Being that the sensors are $400 / piece ($1600 / set) from Infiniti, I wanted to make sure the installer was comfortable with the process. Discount Tire Co (same as America's Tire Co) sells rims, sells a lot of tires to local Corvette ownes, etc. I knew they could do it.

Installation was $200 and that included tax. I bought 20 lugs, 4 pretty high-end wheellocks, chrome valve stems, 4 hubrings, mounting of 4 wheels/tires, unmounting old tires, taking tires off moving sensors over, putting tires back on old rims so I can sell them. They charged $5/wheel to put the old tires on. It sounds expensive but they had four guys working on my car for an hour so I feel it was completely fair, and I have the peace of mind knowing my sensors were installed properly.

If I didn't have the sensors, and brought my own lugs, the install would've been probably $20 / wheel.

$250 tires + $200 labor + $850 wheels (going rate for the ones I got) = $1,300 shipped, installed (total expense).

I'll sell my rims for somewhere around 550-600, so it makes it fairly cheap, plus my hookup saved me quite a bit more.

if it were for a coupe id say you shouldve gotten 19s, but i think theyll look perfect on your sedan if you drop it an inch or so!

18x8 with +38 offset is what I've been told to get when I purchase new rims.

I was also looking at 245/45/18's as well. I guess I will decide on tires when it comes to it.

I have slightly used 19's For sale They are 9.5" and 8.5" with Hankook tires. The are posted in the parts classifieds.
