Is SSR's Super Black Coat (SBC) too close to chrome?
 

I've always abhorred chrome wheels (particularly on sporty cars). Despite the shine, I find myself oddly attracted to the Super Black Coat offered by SBC. I've seen it in person, and wanted to get other's opinions of this finish, and how you feel about it on cars like the G Coupe - particularly from people who also despise chrome wheels on the G?

Also, if you have a G with some aggressive offsets (ie 0 or negative #s) of SSR MS1's in SBC, I'd love to see?

Looks awesome!!! I been wanting to go with black wheels cause I hate crome also. My wheels have a the polish finnish on them. This is right in the middle and I didn't know it was even out there.

I'd have to see it next to a pure chrome version. In this pic, it looks like chrome to me.

Good point Jst, I'm going to try and find a chrome example of a mesh wheel I can use
