What offset for LE37T's or Prog. spoke will have the biggest lip?

Need some help from our expert members:

I'm deciding between the LE37T's and Progressive Spoke in 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 set up. What offset would clear the Brembo's and give me the biggest lip??

you're looking at the wrong wheels if you want a big lip (at least in those sizes) - no combinations of offsets/widths in the Progressives will give you a lip over 1.5"... and to get about a 2" lip, you have to run a 10.5" wheel in the LE's... so basically you're barking up the wrong wheel tree...

speeder617, bzabodyn is correct. You will need to look into a 2 piece rim if you want to have a deep set rim face. The TE37's are meant for racing and I believe that there is a formula already calculated in where the spokes sit no matter what the offsets are on the LE and TE37's. Reason on why I say this is because I had 2 sets. One with a +30 offset and another with a +12 offset on a 10.5" rim. You would assume that the +12 offset would give you more of a lip on the rim.....but it didnt. They were the same. The only thing that changed was where the rim mounted to the hub. The backing thickness was adjusted. Too much lip on any rim means that it will be weaker since it would not be able to take the high presssures of 3000 + pounds leaning on them in a corner at full acceleration.

Look into the GT-C's or SF- Winnings for the deeper lips.

Watch the offsets though otherwise you might be hitting the inner lip of the fenders. +22 fronts are good and safe...+22 rears on a 10.5 is already cutting it close and you will rub a little with 275's.

Thanks

Thanks for the excellent info. I currently have GTC's in diamond black but they're ruined. I'm looking to replace them and will probably go with the Progressive spokes.
