Best Pricing you've seen on TEIN BASICS?

Hi guys, I have decided that I will want to go coilovers... instead of just springs...

I'm still in the process of shopping around, what have been your guy's experience w/ either new or used Basics

Thanks!

I purchased my Tein Basic Coilovers from Gruppe-S in Hayward for $720. I had them install the coilovers this past friday. I think Gruppe-S is one of the g35driver sponsors, check the vendor classified section for the deal they posted, it was a 3 day only sale, they may be able to get you the coilovers for the same price or close to it. I had eibach lowering springs on my ride with the sports suspension. Its like night a day when compared to the tein basic coilovers. Its a much better ride, and the car feels more stable at high speeds and taking corners fast. If you decide to call gruppe-s ask for Tom. Gruppe-S Phone# 510-783-5300. Gruppe-S is an awesome company and I would definately do business with them again.

I will post pics once the weather in Sacramento clears up and I wash my car.

jedmonds - Can I ask a couple of questions:

1. How much did you pay to have them installed at Gruppe-S? Total price?
2. Also how much did you lower your G?
3. It's probably too early to tell, but do you notice a camber difference?
4. Did you align everything back into specs?

I think many G Drivers would benefit from your answers, so we appreciate it. I've done plenty suspension research and found my calling is Tein Basic coilovers. Now, I'm just looking for a good place to install them in the NorCal area. Thanks again.

G's up...

1. I paid 720 for the coilovers + Tax and 150 for the install for the Tein Basic Coilovers.
2. There is about half a finger space in the front and rear. (not sure exactly how many inches, but there is barely any space between the tire and wheel well, which is what i wanted, i am running 18/45/245 toyo ES100 tires)
3 and 4. Yeah my camber is off, I have an appointment this thursday to get my car aligned. I will keep you guys updated on how close to spec they can get my car too.

Gruppe-S did an awesome job on my install, they are very knowlegdeable and great to deal with.

BTW. If anyone is looking for a used set of Eibach's springs for the G35 Sedan, PM me with an offer.
