Wheel/tire fitment
 

I've referenced the sedan fitment chart and I need some clarification. I'm looking at 19x9 +40 fronts with a 255/35 and 19x10 +50 rears with 285/30. Is this combo feasible? Fender rolling necessary? I've referenced a wheel calc site and it looks like the fronts will push in towards the suspension .15" and outwards .55" while the rears will push inwards 1.15" and outwards .75". Overall diameter will be 26" in front and 25.7" in rear, well within limits for VDC. Looking at HRE FlowForm FF15 wheels. My other option is gramlight wheels in 19x9.5 +25 with 265/35 and 19x10.5 +43 with 295/30. Any input is appreciated! Looking at a future LSx swap and want a tire and wheel package that can keep up when the time comes as I need new tires anyways and my wheels have curb rash from previous owner... Also car will probably be dropped 1".

It would help more if you posted what size/brand tires you're running. Plus he has a sedan not a coupe and that makes a ton of difference.

OP the Gramlights/tires are out they are way too wide for the wheel well. On your first choice it's going to be close, especially if you drop the car.

I figured the gramlights wouldn't work but wanted to check as I really like the wheel design. Sigh. How close do you think it would be if I had the fenders rolled and maybe a half inch drop with the flowforms? I don't want to slam the car because of parking and speed bumps anyways. I used to have a slammed BMW E30 and I don't want another scraper...I want to do coilovers because I plan on an LS3 swap and want to be able to adjust thetheight with the little bit extra weight. Not looking to lower it much. Figure some good coilovers and upgraded sways will handle good enough fory needs. Besides not lowering it much saves me $$$ so I don't have to buy adjustable suspension bits...

Check out this post below. Wheels are 18X9 +25 (+30 and a 5mm spacer) and the front tires are 235/45, rear 245/45. The rears have a credit card's amount of space and the fronts a tad more. So in the front you'd have a wider rim and significantly bigger tire and the rears would have a 1.5" wider wheel and enormous tires. Might be able to fit those with crazy negative camber like this / \ but my guess is no.

According to the wheel calculator, 235/35 +25 sticks out .79" farther than stock, while 255/35 +40 sticks out only .55". So they SHOULD fit. May have to run a thin spacer if they hit the suspension. I know there was a member running 255/35s on an 19x8.5 +38 all around no problem. I also am pretty sure the rear will fit if it won't hit any of the suspension/body/frame bits on the inside as this member is running 295s with way less offset...I would be running +50 with the hre FlowForms...

He's running 295s on an 11 in rim with +36 offset and -1.6 degrees of camber. Though his fenders have been pulled ever so slightly. I'm looking to do the same. May run a spacer in the back too. We shall see...

I know that the gramlights and 265 fronts are out without a lot of bodywork. I am trying to match the stock tire widths of a BMW f80 m3 competition as I will be putting out similar power with an LS3, yet will be a bit lighter and will have similar or better weight distribution.

Sounds good, just remember that tire widths can vary from one manufacturer to another, not all 235/35's are created equally etc.
