Depends on what you mean by best. Best quality performance would be a set coilovers. Best for your wallet would just be replacement springs.

i just picked up a set of 19's as well. and i am in the same situation where id like to drop one inch all the way around. i plan on installing pro kits.. will let you guys know how that comes along.. plan on getting everything on next monday :D

Most cost effective 1 inch drop for Sedan is the 350z suspension. You can find them sold by peeps on my350z for about $300 shipped. I just bought a set off a guy from a 2005 350Z track with only 100 miles, so I'm pumped :)

Well I want to do this in stages.

My new wheels will sit slighty wider.

I want a 1" drop all the way around, but am worried about tire wear.

Do I have to do anything else to keep my wheels meaning aligning back to oem specs without aftermarket alighnment parts???

I'd ask GSedan35 for advice, but I think the 350z suspension will work for what you want, plus you will get new shocks and stiffer springs, so your handling will improve.

From my extensive research and question asking, since I'm also going for a 1" drop all around, the best setup without having to deal with camber/toe arms, you'll need to get oem Z springs with Tokico D specs for the Z. That's what I'm getting. My springs should be here tomorrow and the Dspecs soon. I am also getting 19's.

If you really want a 1 inch drop, you won't get it with the 350z suspension. Supposedly, the 350z suspension will only lower the Coupe 0.5 inch all around with a 350z suspension. Gsedan35 has many posts where he talks about the amount of drop for the coupe and sedan - the sedan drops more.

If you buy a set of adjustable coilovers you can set them to whatever height you want.

Les't we forget to mention that that has something to do with why they cost 5x as much. :rolleyes:

ROTFLMAO!!!! Anyway, it depends on your wallet. I got a 1" drop from my 350Z springs (S-Tech). The 350Z RSR will give you an inch as well.

Cost will depend on if your lucky enough to be within alignment spec or how much your willing to be out of spec. Even with .8" coupe drops, staying within spec is hit and miss based on actual owner experiences.

The best way to drop 1" in price order.

Comfort based coilover:

Performance coilover without straying too far from comfort

$155 lowers coupe **1.2"/.9"

* I still recommend shock replacement as the oem shocks do not compare to Tokico D-specs, even on oem springs. Also I'm speaking from the position of currently testing 350Z H-tech's on oem shocks.
