19's front 20's rear??
 

Anybody running 19's on the front and 20's on the rear? Pics??

I want to know the same. I'm looking at this setup and R1 Racing Wheels advised me this would be a better setup instead of 20's on all 4's. Manufacturer said 20's in the front will rub. I've seen numerous post with 20's in the front on this site. Sometimes the 20's look too large on in the front but awesome in the back. Wanna see a pic bad of 19 front 20 back.

I don't know for sure but I believe you may run into VDC issues running 19's front n 20's rear. I believe the difference between front n rear needs to be 5% or sumtin with the tires. Don't know for sure, but someone should have more input

It's been done, a few people around here chose to go with 19s in the front and 20s in the back... doesn't cause any problems at all, and it is a slightly better setup than 20's all around... looks hot too ;)

its been done by a few people that said they didnt have any problems. I personally think it looks bad. And there are TONS of people on here with 20s that will tell you they dont rub, even with a drop.

Thanx everybody for responding. So many sports cars run larger in the rear from the factory. I know for a fact the Corvette does. I was wondering why nobody seems to on the G. From an appearance standpoint I think it looks much better. It has to be a benefit to handling/steering as well or why else would cars come from the factory that way. I think I am going to go this route on my G. Will throw up some pix when I get'm on.

I seriously considered 19/20 setup but couldn't get an answer or re-assurance that the VDC would not be effected.

Yeah I know the pimp setup looks sick but I'm feelin the race setup look more for my biatch. She gonna get slapped one way or another tho.

There should be no problems with VDC provided you get the proper tire sizes.

One setup may be:
19x9.5 w/ 255/35/19 --> 0.21% smaller OD than stock 18s set up
20x10.5 w/ 285/30/20 --> 0.19% bigger OD than stock 18s set up

I based these numbers on the '04 OD numbers I crunched for my G coupe (18x8). Also moving up in wheel size will not fill in the "gap," provided the OD is close to stock. Changing the OD would most likely wreak havoc with VDC and ABS. It's only by lowering the car will the gap be minimized.
