Tire Air Pressure Light???
 

Hey guys.. I have 2005 G35C full option.... and have only 5300miles on it..
about a week ago, on my gauage I got a light w/ beeping sound that my tires were out of air.. so I checked the tires and they were below 32psi... but tires I have OEM 19" requires 35psi.. so I pumped the air to 35psi to all four tires... but today.. when I turn the engine on this morning, that air pressure sign came on again... why??? it's been only 5 or 6days that I put air in all four tires.... I did search and found out that during cold temperture, the tire pressure drops or something.. but it happens that fast??? I even check my tires if they have any punctures but no signs of pucnture or anything.. they look brand new to me... why is this happening... please help..

What were the tires inflated to when you took the latest readings? Were all the tires lower? Just one? How did you measure the tire pressures? With a tool that was provided by the place you filled the air up at or your own?

Take it back to the dealership to recalibrate your sensor. It's just not reading correctly. Quick fix and No Charge to you.

happened once to me too. Checked the tire pressure and it was normal. Turned engine off and back on and hasn't happened since. (shrugs)

Get yourself a good tire pressure gauge, I heard digital ones are good, and make sure to check when the car has not been driven for at least an hour. It supposed to be 35psi cold, which means not driven for a long while.

maybe you inflated it to 35psi when hot?

I have an 05 coupe. My car did the same thing this weekend. A quarter mile down the road, the "tire light" came on with a beep. Tires were at 28 psi. Inflated tires to 35 psi per recommendations. The light stayed on for 5 miles after inflating the tires and finally went out. The owners manual just says the system will reset itself once the vehicle speed is above 20 mph. Maybe you could just drive a little faster (now you have an excuse). That's what I did and the system reset itself.

There have been a number of threads on this topic, as this has happened to many folks, and the usual culprit is temperature. I was up in the mountains a month ago (with the temp about 30 degrees lower than starting the day) and my sensor went off. Every tire was at 31-32, so I bumped them up to 35-36 and it's not gone off again. Someone on here said you lose 1 psi for every 10 degree drop in temp.

Gas tank (trouble filling up at times).

Got 2 out of the 3 fixed (while i waited for an hour), and now the TPL doesn't come on anymore all @ no charge.:) :)
