Just Lowered w/ 19's

Lowered the car two weeks ago and just got my 19" wheels. Car drivers a lot better then stock. Much quieter ride...a little hash but love the handling. I went with Bridgestone Pole Position tires (245 x 35). Like the stance of the car too.

Looks very nice. I've been looking at getting lowering springs and new wheels as well. What was the total drop of your G after the springs?

Also, can you provide the detail on the wheels and tires?

Congrats, very sweet looking ride!

Damn, that looks nice! Adds an aggressive flair, but maintains the classy look, IMHO. Not sure what wax you use, but the picture really shows the shine, too.

Re: Just Lowered w/ 19's

JC,

Thanks. The total drop per Eibach is 1.1 inch. However I think it is about 1.5. I am not sure if that is because of the sports suspension. Looks a lot lower then stock.

The wheels are by ALT, and it's 19x8. Tires are by Bridgestone - 245x35.

If you are in the So. CAL area, I can tell you where to get them.

Looks real good. Do you have any clearance problems with the wider wheels?

Also, are you still using the stock shock absorbers with the Eibachs, or did you upgrade those too?

Any issues with alignment/camber after the drop?

Again...great looking car.

Re: Just Lowered w/ 19's

Do not have any problems with clearnace. The tire size or diameter is almost the same as the stock tire...not the width.

Other the springs, everything else is stock.

I did the an alignment after the wheels were installed just to be on the safer site :)

That is the place...Speak to George!!!

My whole setup with the Bridgestone were $2500. U can get cheaper tires, but it may not ride as nice or might be noisy.

Good luck :)

Bridgestone's are actually known to be one of the noisier tires out on the market, especially any Pole Positions.
