Got 20's ?

https://g35driver.com/rides/detailri...x=18&vehId=393

245/35/20 all the way around:

Initial thoughts: The front is perfect, if not close to perfect. The back is too small. Not ridiculously too small, but just a tad too small. You really need a stagger set up for this car. It does raise the car up a little, and I can tell the hood slightly a different angle now with the road, but this goes with the territory when you go with 20's. But over all it looks very clean, and to your average smo' on the street it would be considered "holy moly's ....that's bad asss!@@$" What I'm gonna do is, put the two back tires away into storage to be used as a spare set for my fronts, and get some bigger back tires.... possibly 265 or maybe 40 series instead of 35 series. It looks very clean, and 20's are not too big on this car at all. There is absolutely no rubbing what so ever. Its raining like crazy here in Houston, I'll get some pics posted this weekend.

I don't even know where to start! First off, I can't believe you're not getting any love from anybody else on the board! Are you people dead? Too many haters out there, I guess. I think your description of the rear wheel was dead on; not ridiculously too small, but just a tad too small. Fortunately, you could use a little width & height, which you could get with a wider tire of the same aspect ratio A 275/35/20 would get you 27.5 inches of height, and a 265/35/20 would get you 27.3 inches of height (compared to 26.7inches for a 245/35/20). Either of these sizes would get you that additional width you need to fill out that rear wheel well, too. Nitto makes a 275/35/20 that would work (so you wouldn't have to buy 4 new tires so they all match), or if you want a 265/35/20 you could go that route too. Nitto doesn't make that size, though. I guess you could go with a 245/40/20(nitto doesn't make those either), but I think you could use the width increase too, and going to a 40 series won't do that. So many factors to consider! I had no idea that the coupe body was that much wider in the back. I never would have guessed(until you told me) that a staggered set-up was the way to go. Anyway, that thing looks sweet as hell! When I showed my wife the pictures of your car she said, "Maybe you should have gotten the two door." I said " Maybe you should shut up!" I must admit, that thing is badass!

Who is hatin'?

Nobody said anything bad about the car....just because people didn't pounce on the post doesn't mean we think it sucks. I'm waitng for some pictures so I can see how it looks before i make an opinion.

I just saw the pics.....not bad. I'm not a big fan of chrome, but it does look pretty good. Not my personal choice, but it's not my car either.

Re: Got 20's ?

Actually, I'm not a fan of chrome on a 'sporty' type car also. IMO: I'm not a fan of chrome on a car under 50K, but that's just me. This is actually a 'diamond cut brilliant silver'. Thanks for the compliment..........

Re: Got 20's ?

When you say "too small" are you talking about the width of the tire? I think you might be talking about the diameter, if so you really don't want to go to 40's your speedometer reading will be off too much. A 40 series is going to throw you off even more.

If you are talking about width, that will really be decided by the width of the rim if you can go up to 265's I would most definitely...

Anyway the rims look great...

Re: Got 20's ?

I'm think 275/30/20 on the rear..... but not sure yet....I'm still researching. I like the aggressive/staggered look, but I'm don't want it too severe looking. I like it more subtle. I don't want the super chubby tire in the back look. Thanks for your comments.

Do you think you need more height or width, or both? 275/35/20 would give you both, while a 275/30/20 would give you just width. IMHO, that 275/35/20 would be perfect! About an inch wider, about 3/4in. taller!

You'll be surprised on the 275 /30/ 20's. They'll fit perfect on your wheel. What is the width of your rear wheel anyway?

You car looks amazing. One question. Any idea what the offset of width of your rims are? Thanks.
