Help: Will 245's fit OEM front rims

I have an opportunity to buy some winter tires off of my brother who is trading in his 300M (Chrysler). His tires are 245/45/18's. I know that this is a perfect match for the rears, but could I squeeze these tires onto the factory fronts?? If I remember correctly, the OEM fronts are 225's.

Thanks

Neil

You should pass on them because of the height. They will fit, but they will be the same height as the rear. The computer is expecting the front wheels to turn as a faster rate than the rears. This will make it think the fronts are slipping all the time and mess up the VDC and EBD. If you went with 245/40's you would be fine since they are the same height as the stock 225/45's.
