Kumho Escta SPT's, PIC's INSIDE
Sold the Michelin Pilot Sports and bought some Kumho Escta SPT's. 235/45/18 all the way around. I think it give the car a better look and closed in the front fender gap from 3 fingers to 2. The very minor rubbing issues I had in the rear should be gone as well. Won't be able to test that until I get some passengers in the back. First two pics were with the staggered tire setup from the Michelin's and the last 3 are the new tires. Only put about 30 miles on the tires so far, but I'm pleased, especially for the price. Steering response is a tad bit slower, but nothing to extreme that I can't get used to. In the long run, I think this option will be best.

I am currently using the SPTs on a 91 500SL and one has started to sing just a bit. They about 5900 on them. Its the right front-maybe a balance issue. Great tire for the money.Enjoy them!! I just wished I could have used Proxes 4s but the sizes don't work.

How has the handling been. Did you have the Turanza ER33 before? If so how do they compare? I'm thinking about getting a set of these.
