Hey all...
I recently purchased an '06 G35 Coupe 6MT in Ivory Pearl. It was involved in an accident and the steering wheel/drive side seat bag went off. They were both replaced with new ones and I was assuming there wouldn't be much else to it as far as the AirBag system goes.
The problem I'm having now is that there are NO CODES in the system, but the airbag light is still on. I've taken it to a dealership and they told me that they want me to replace the whole engine wiring harness ($1200 parts, $1500+ labour)
which in my opinion seems a little farfetched.
I've tried the AirBag reset procedure to no avail. Anyone got any ideas?
Before everyone goes on about lecturing me on buying a salvage, please don't bother. I'm fully aware of the cons of buying salvage vehicles and am not concerned about them. I obviously would like all the AirBags to be working 100%.
