Damn 30 runs. How much time did you let it rest after each run? Dragging puts lots of strain on the tranny and Torque converter. I did 10 runs and I though I was putting too much strain on it :P,I let my car rest about 15-20 min in between each run. But for some reason it has unlocked some power some how for me. I now get some tire spin just getting on the gas a bit from pulling out from a standstill, or it might be my tires hmm lol.
HI EVERYONE
for me for not replying on here earlier.
yea i dont know what to tell you either he was still drunk from the night before or what. but
for me haha.
which cars do you want to know let me know. i can get them for you.
just one foot on the brake and other ready on the gas. NOT power braking and then just quickly releasing the brake and punching the gas. best time was with me shifting. with this many runs i tried every possible way. power braking just bogged the car down and i dont ever do it. and D was .02 seconds slower same with DS.
thanks buddy i hope so too it was sure a kick A-- time people asking what size turbos i have and engine specs. all the HONDA + EVO + MUSTANG + OL SCHOOL guys were so shocked and impressed. im sure after the event they googled up the G asap to see what is really in there. ahhaha. but summer time were doing something Sir! cant wait!
i guess thats why they are the civic guys. simple reason.
just bolt ons and a tune.
thanks bro. im just as happy its workin out finally.
i kno i can get break mid 13s. 13.5 with a few more thousand miles on it. from what i remember the first time from 5k miles to 10k miles the car was like a entire different car.
ummm practically no rest between runs. just one after the other. i did wait for about a hour before close thats just because it was lunch time and i myself got tired. thats when i iced down the intakes and see if that would make any difference and there was non at all, and believe me the intakes were frozen cold. lol.
the HR for some weird reason doesnt have much heat soak. on a dyno i got more power from the engine being fully hot and where other cars esp turbo cars would of been lagging and bogging down thats where i made most gains after about 10 dyno pulls.
ya now with the engine broken in a little more i get a tiny wheel hop or spin with my stock tires on from a first gear roll at like 20mph lol. with vdc on the slip light goes crazy in a straight line lol.
