Thanks for the reply...I double checked the sensor to see that if it had gotten loose during the install but it seems perfectly intact. I never dissconnected it anyways, i just let it hang during the install. I also tried disconnecting the battery terminal for half an hour to see if my temperature button will let me increase and decrase the temp...it still doesnt...its stuck at 70?????Please help!

Can I connect an aftermarket double din directly to the stock Bose, or do I have to add a "volume converter"?

Do we need to use this in the install? Could we buy the JDM center trim and reuse our climate control panel with it?

It seems that everywhere I have searched shows that this JDM climate control panel must be purchased and then the USDM dual button modified to work with the new JDM control panel. Why is that?

This Is The Reason Why You Need The Jdm Ac Controller

Thats why...

I would almost pay you to cut the PCB and try it,

.. but then I'd slap you.

This board has everything. That link is a direct answer to my question. I searched but it did not come up.

Thank you for the info.

Hey, I also have the stock navi and would like to convert to a DD.

Any suggestions on how it worked out for you?

man....I am thinking of doing this....my cd play pooped out.....the thing is this though....is there ANY long term harm in just keeping it withought the cd player? I rarely listen to cds and have my sirius sat. radio hooked up via the tape deck....same with my ipod touch....

will it do any harm to just leave it?

This has been very useful. Thanks for sharing the manual. Although I would like to do more research on the pros and cons of switching to aftermarket HU and JDM v35 AC controllers. And figure out if the process is different for 6spd mt.
