DD Grocery List

So, I finally made the decision to do the upgrade to the HU.

Here's my grocery list. Let me know if I'm missing anything:

1. Kenwood DNX 7140
2. 127SWIJACK PAC SWI-JACK JVC/Alp/Clari/Ken Steering Wheel Radio Control Interface
3. 113XM100V Kenwood KCA-XM100V XM Adaptor 220CNP2000 XM CNP2000 Mini Tuner XM Satellite Radio Cartridge
4. 113IP301V Kenwood KCA-iP301V iPod Video Direct Cable
5. JDM INFINITI G35 DOUBLE DIN DUAL AC DASH KIT

I'm just checking to make sure I didn't miss anything. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

6. Nissan diversity antenna adapter
7. Metra 70-7550 (non-bose) or 70-7551 (bose) wiring harness.
*8. DD trim ring if the Kenwood doesn't include one.
*9. Some HUs don't work well with the Bose balanced signal setup and generate noise. I haven't had issues with Pioneer, but Kenwood may be different.

What is the "Nissan diversity antenna adapter"? I'm having a Pioneer HU install shortly in my G and didn't buy one, but I have everything else!

PM'd, messaged here for others' reference.

Nissans typically from the early to mid 1980’s up to the early to mid 1990’s: Nissan designed their vehicles with 2 antennas for many of their vehicles. This design from Nissan was called the DIVERSITY ANTENNA and may be seen printed on some Nissan radios. The adapter for these is called a NISSAN DIVERSITY antenna adapter.
Even after they went back to just a single antenna, they continued using the same plug, so the diversity adapter works in newer vehicles too.

They're available from virtually every car audio shop for about $15, as the same part was required for aftermarket head unit installation in Nissans/Infinitis for over a decade. Shouldn't be a special order or expensive anywhere.

I confirmed with Crutchfield the DNX 7140 comes with the trim ring.

They are shipping the 120707551 Nissan/Infiniti Wire Harness A Amplifier Integration with the HU

I haven't read of any issues with the Kenwoods and the Bose signal setup. Once I install, I will provide pics, and feedback. Thanks for the input. Now I have to research where to put the antenna for the XM and the GPS antenna for the HU.

There's room under the dash for the GPS antenna (clean and stealthy), I'm not sure how picky XM is for placement.
