upgrading audio
About to upgrade the audio in my 04 coupe, currently in the process of buying up everything I need. Got the pioneer 4000nex, jdm dbl din w modded dual ac control, 4080 drivers side (hoping I come across a passenger at some point), got a focal 4.160 amp that I'm planning on powering a ten inch sub bridged and the front stage. I'm eyeballing either focal165krx2 or kr2 components. The x2s have a two inch tweeter and im curious to know how much fabrication would be involved to install. I'm not worried about fabricating the mounting hardware but I want to exterior of the sail panel to appear stock. Anyone have any input?

Ahh, I see. I guess I had been reading about people putting 1 3/4" tweeters in the stock location, was curious how much of a stretch it would be for 2". So I am considering the A pillar as well now, but I've never done anything like that. Is it as easy to mess up as I think it is? If I use the a pillar would it make sense to upgrade to 3 way components?

It's a bit of fabrication, if you're well-practiced at fiberglass, it's not too bad.
