Is this the $500 bar? I was looking at one that looks like the one in the picture. But then i found out it was $500 and i was like hmmm. Just wasn't ready to spend that kinda $$ on a strut bar. I hear it is night and day difference in the way your car handles after the bar is installed. But then again it's $500.
If i tracked my car regularly then i would spend that kinda of money on a strut bar. But my daily driver i just can't justify spending $500 on a strut bar.

Remember - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR And, this STB is, IMHO, definitely worth it. The change in rigidity and handling has to be felt to be believed. No one that has one of these bars has anything negative to say about it.

OK guys, glad to see some interest then.

The point in the thread was to have you guys contact scott and let him know that you're interested.

This question needs to answered first, unless you did that in your "you get what you pay for post".

I like it, but not $500 like it.

he didn't give any indication of what they might cost. I assume they will be around that price though.

it's too bad, this might not come to fruition. Well at least some of us tried. Sure would love to see this happen.

This fits the sedan just fine.

It does bolt to only one bolt on each strut but if you take a look at how it really bolts up, it feels like it's working like a strut bar/fender brace combo... it's the closest we'll get to a 3 point strut bar or strut bar w/ fender brace. The difference really is that dramatic.

lekker_droom, if you guys get this going, would you be able to get Scott to make an extra driver's side bracket for me? I need to modify my current one...

You can search for info about this bar, but most say this is the BEST bar you can get for the G.

https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-...wer-brace.html

Someone on the forums just GAVE AWAY this strut bar for $200... sheeeesh

My VRT Strut bar on my 03 sedan...

You get 2 bigger bolts for your A-arms that 1 arm of the bar bolts to, and then it bolts to 2 shock bolts on top.

Actually selling it soon, along with both my GTSpec bars, sway bars, grounding kit and SS brake lines... any takers?

Yes the bars are the same. Just thinking of going a different route... A little more show then go.
