BC Racing Coilovers with 8k/8k, 7k/7k, or 8k/6k springs?

Is anyone running 8k/8k, 7k/7k, or 8k/6k springs with their BC coilovers on the coupe?

The default spring rates for BC are 10k/8k, 560/448 which is much stiffer than oem 314/342 non sport and 314/427 sport rates. After doing some research, I found that most "comfort" coilovers come with softer spring rates.

Bilstein PSS9: Spring rates 370/240-420 (rear progressive)
HKS III (not the Sport model): Spring rates 448/448 (8k/8K)
Tein CS: Spring rates 392/392 (7k/7k)

Running +/-2k on BC is within range of the original shock valving. I'm wondering whether running softer springs on BC would give a comparable ride to the much more expensive coilovers, or are we paying extra $$$ because of their valving?

After reading numerous reviews on BC, the general consensus is that setting them to full stiff is back breaking and full soft is too bouncy. Most people run them within a few clicks from the middle for the most comfortable ride. Seems like softer springs would offer a better ride and contact with the road and could be stiffened up more than the standard 10k/8k setup to eliminate the bounce before they become jarring. I have read feedback that Tein CS valving is very soft across the range so even at full stiff they are not stiff enough to be uncomfortable. BC seems to have a more aggressive valving across the range, which could allow for more adjustment with softer springs.

Any feedback is much appreciated!

I have the HKS IV's and they are 9/9 which has been perfect. I think anything less would be too soft.
