'06 G35 Coupe Clutch or Transmission Problem
Hi everyone, I'm new to these forums and wanted to say Hi but on top of that I was also having problems with my clutch or maybe a transmission problem and was wondering if anyone could help me find the problem so I could fix it, as the title states I have an '06 G35 Coupe 6MT, I recently changed the clutch on my car as the old one was worn out and was slipping. I got an Excedy Clutch and Spec Single Mass Flywheel. I did replace the Pilot Bushing and the Throw Out Bearing. After the car was put together and we started it up, the car had problems going into gear. I drove the car for the 1000 miles that they recommend to break it in and hoped that it would fix it, but still the problem persists. Some of the problems that's been happening include: When stepping on the clutch there is a whining noise that will last for a few seconds and after it goes away the car will finally go into gear smoothly, when trying to put the car into gear after stepping on the clutch pedal there is a loud klunking noise and the entire car kind of shutters (I don't continue forcing it into gear), this only happens when the car is at a stand still though. When the car is moving, the car will go into gear but is extremely notchy. What are your inputs? Any thoughts on what the problem could be? Anything I should try and test? Thank you.

Update
So after a couple hours of observation and analysis I believe that it has to do with the throw out bearing taking longer then usual to disengage the clutch. When the car is at a stand still on a flat surface, when you step on the clutch and try to put the car into gear, the car will want to move in that direction before it stops and goes into gear, when putting into first it rolls forward a bit before going into gear, and same with reverse, the car will roll backwards before going into gear. Right now I believe that it could possibly be a bad slave cylinder, possibly the master cylinder and I'm hoping that it's not, but the throw out bearing itself, any input? Something else that could be causing this problem?
