License Plate Lights

Has anyone on here replaced the stock lights with LED's? I was trying to get the covers off on my coupe but couldn't quite figure it out.

i have the v35. How did you go about replacing the lights? I can't quite get up into the light housing and take it off. Is it just a clip to remove it?

They have a clip on one side, you may pop them off by pushing sideways on the bulb housing over he license plate.

Diode dynamics website details the bulb type.

Yeah just like the Urban has mentioned it they has a clip that you push and the whole thing slides out and you can either twist and remove the bulb or you can simply unplug it from the plug that plugs into the housing/light socket it self! The lights I replaced on my car came in with new housing as my old ones were old/dull looking and the new lights have 12 or 14 LEDs in them and they are bright as heck, makes the police easy to see my tag lol

Use either Diode Dynamics or VLEDs both really good companies get under license plate small plastic box use a knife pop the clip and pull it down easy upgrade makes a difference

For sure... I've got LEDs everywhere in the car now and the 194's in the city lights are almost enough to light up the road in front... yikes. Some nice white bulbs sure do look good on the rear of the G though! Good contrast to the red LED tails.
