i found the box with the fuse. if you look behind the battery, there is a large black thing that has them all in it.
on the sedan, it looks like you have to pull off the plastic diffuser around the windshield, but not sure about the coupe

not to jack your thread but the small lights on the side of the tailights arent lighting up on my car, im thinking its because the previous owner had the dealer install the spoiler so they are using that wire to connect to the spoiler, any ideas?!

No they are probably just burnt out. They just use standard bulbs like lightbulbs and burn out faster I believe.

if you can get to the back of the lights, theres a 4 wire connector to the fixture. one is ground and another is turning. one of the other two should gi directly to the board inside for the lights, and the other should split, and one run around to the outside light.
maybe they broke that somehow?

i didnt want to cut the main wires that split up to each license plate light, so what i did was just cut off the plastic around the wires to expose the bare wires. I go to connect the wires from the cold cathodes and go to turn my lights on, SUCCESS! the lights turn on, flicker then turn off.. i then try to tighten the grip around oem wires but doesnt work, i take off the wires from the cold cathodes and turn the lights on, my oem license plate lights also dont turn on.

my question is.. is this a blown fuse or what? because all of my other lights work, especially my trunk and the tail lights... so help me out guys, i know theres some guys i pmed on here about the install and they told me it was a pretty easy job, ugh im not known to fail at installs so das y im so pissed.. so lend a hand guys, thanks a lot in advance

EDIT: GREAT SUCCESS! it was just a busted fuse, didnt know there wus a 3rd fuse box, thanks for all the help guys
HeY1 Can you help me locate the 3rd fuse boxes.I got same ploblem with my 08 G35X Thanks mann!!
