Question 06 G35 Coupe Window issues

Hi everyone. My name is Ryan aka Tort from Philly. Im 22 Years old and just purchased an 06 Coupe with 65k miles on it for $14,700. 2 Owners clean carfax. Very clean. Garage kept. One question i had though. On the driver window when i try to bring it all the way up, it automatically drops down when it hits the top. I don't understand why but i have seen you tube videos with the same issues. So I'm asking since im new to this forum and new to a g35, how do you fix this. Do i have to calibrate the window motor or something. Please help thank you so much.

Yes you can reset it but its usually a sign the motor is about to die. Having your window motor die while down & in the rain is not fun.

LOL at the dying remark ..

Unless the motor sounds terrible, and it is slow as molasses it is likely fine. But the windows "limit" needs reset.

sadly you have the same car as me so it involved tearing most of your door apart to get to the famed ''limit switch'' so I juts live with it.

anyhoo you need to reset using the window motor ''limit switch''
