Gary, this is actually in a V36 thread, so I don't think the 1st gen issues apply much here.

One year ago, i purchased an 07 g35x loaded with navi at 215k km. These cars are actually built tough id have to say. Id recommend checking the conditions of the fluids, and an underbody inspection. Also, doing all the work on this car myself. Its famous for seized bolts or rust and peeling around the steering, shifter, and around the window controls. Haven't had any major problems just service, and i've ran this car hard multiple times. Im from Ontario, this car is amazing in the winter as well. Surprisingly, if you can keep your foot off the gas and take it easy. It's fair on gas too.

I drive my 07 daily, solid so far. My father drives his G37 3hrs a day 3-4 days a week and the only problem so far was a limp mode throw for no reason.

Solid cars IMO.

The only thing I wish I could change is the odd jolty start from a stop... and an extra 200hp lol... but that would kill the daily driver aspect IMO.

saving for a GT-R
