Extending Elite Warranty

So the Infiniti Elite warranty I purchased when I bought the car from the dealer is coming up in the fall.

A little background first.

I bought the car in October of 2011 with a 3 year warranty and that is coming up this fall. The only thing that I have yet to have go wrong on the car was just a TPMS sensor and that just went off the other day.

I don't really drive the car every day anymore due to taking the train to work so I have only put about 18-20K miles on it since I bought it. While the car has been extremely reliable for me, I don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon so I am thinking about extending the warranty if possible. I am around 59K right now.

When I bought the car, I had looked into keeping the factory warranty until it ran out and then purchasing an Elite warranty. I thought I remember being told that the dealer would have to do some sort of inspection to see if anything would be wrong in between that time
factory one ended and before I purchased the Elite.

Has anyone done something like this? Trying to see if this is possible and what typically would be charged if trying to extend beyond the actual warranty.

Thanks.

Call or Email Courtney Mutema at (480) 941-0055 x 2351 or cmutema@vtaig.com. She will know and can provide quotes. Do it before your factory warranty expires.

I have 64k on my car and the only thing that went bad was the driveshaft and my tripmatic. I don't know if I will renew my elite
