Stillen HR Header Dyno Results!!!

These were performed on a 2007 350z VQ35HR and i just thought I would share the results here on the G forums as well as the g37 forums.

Black line is before with: Injen Dual Intake, Fast Intentions Intimidator, Fast Intentions Reasonated Test Pipes, Stock ECU

Red Line is after install of headers: Injen Dual Intake, Fast Intentions Intimidator, Fast Intentions Reasonated Test Pipes, Stillen 304 Stainless Steel Headers, Stock ECU

Pulleys, Reflash and Tune from Technosquare on Tuesday
Dyno taken at Technosquare

Baseline numbers were 293.2 WHP 247.8 WTQ(Black Line). Now all thats left is your decision on whether these are worth it to you. Enjoy and I hope these help your modding decisions.

EDIT: Temperture and humidity from both days were relatively similar

so only a 5 WHP and 7TQ gain? Thats horrible.. Still nice numbers though.. I bet that with a tune you will probably get another 20-30whp with those mods.

How is it horrible when he gained that power all throughout the powerband?

headers typically move the power band around, not increase all the way across the board.

The OP mentioned that a technosquare flash was involved. Are both dynos before the flash?

yes stock ecu before and after. Reflash next Tuesday. And even though peak power is only 5hp and 7 torque the car feels and responds so much better since power and torque were gained throughout the whole powerband. Looking for at least 320whp NA when I'm all done

I know. But I was going by what his dyno graph depicts.

According to his post, there was nothing else involved but just the headers itself. (No ECU modification).

Yes I do but I'm not at home. A/f went from 13.4 to 13.5 and is a straight line with the addition of these headers

What kind of dyno is this? What were the correction factors of the first run and last run? Were the baseline numbers your best previous numbers?

Overall, the gains look good, but I'm use to dealing with Dynojets. I must say I'm surprised by the results because the VQ35HR headers are already really really good and are true headers.

Does. Not. Compute.

And there's no way a tune's giving him 20 to 30 hp to the wheels, not unless they're going to muck with the cams.

Dyno is a superflow V2.7 and numbers were calibrated to match dynojet readings. Baseline numbers were the best of 5 pulls and the most recent run with the headers was also the best of 5 pulls with similiar tempature and humity readings.

My last tune/reflash gave me 17whp and i have more modfications now so more corrections which should give me more power. 15-20WHP is my goal
