We'll I've had this airbox on my G for about 2 weeks now and the weather has been nice in Kansas City for me to romp on it often. I'm very pleased with the airbox. Like the HR Y-pipe, it's not an earth shattering performance mod, but it does improve drivability and sound. It definitely improves throttle response and damn does it make the induction sound good (deeper, snortier). My car with the airbox, z-tube, HR y-pipe, and 05/06 midpipe sounds so clean, linear, and deep with no drone under normal driving and absolutely pissed at WOT. It's starting to feel and sound more and more like my old higher revving VQ30 in my Maxima. Who would have thought that these OEM parts could make such a nice difference in the way the car drives.

Right on the money Big D!!!

I am very pleased with this setup... i'm LOVIN' the sound this engine gives when passing from 70... so effortless... so linear... but so BADASS!!!

as you stated.. no MAJOR HP gains.. but it polishes and really cleans up what you currently have.. response and drivability... very nice!

I just ordered mine. As Rico stated in the last page of posting, the part number is 16526AC700, and I entered 2006 G35 Coupe into the search criteria.

Now I just need to find my HR Y pipe and I'll be set!

So if I'd like to switch from my Injen CAI back to the revup airbox on my 03, will I need the 5/16 spacer, or is that only if I go with a z-tube?

keep the spacer, put a ztube or stock G tube and add the rev-up box
