Hello,

So after much searching and following of "the instructions are here" then finding a sad broken link of years past I am posting hoping someone could help me.

I want to upgrade my 05 headlights to 06' OEM projectors on my beautiful lake shore slate '05 6mt coupe that I have just passed 30k kms on.

I've read the issues with Canadian cars DRL modules in regards to not working, signal hyperblinking. I know the bulbs are different from 05 to 06 as the '05s have fog+high beam halogen with low beam hid and the 06 have fog halogen and high/low hid.

Does anyone know where the diy guide for fixing these issues are as every link I have tried in old threads are broken. I am confident I can do any wiring but just trying to find the old guides.
Also I am trying to find Canadian 06' projectors as suggested but am unclear what the difference is other than US models dont have DRL. How do you tell them apart is there a DRL model on the Canadian version.

If I get the Canadian version what issues will I have ?

I want to make sure that I buy the right ones and that they won't be US versions.

Is there anyone from Canada here that has done this mod and made everything work as it should?

I have the same problem. I have 05 Canada g35 coupe and just bought 3 days ago a USA 06 headlamp. did not notice the hyperblink because i drive early morning while still dark and go home at night so i turn on my lights. I went out for lunch I notice no drl and hyperblink. I search everywhere I only found the solution for hyperblink but I dont want to start pulling out again the headlight until i find the solution for the drl.

im buying a pair of canadian projectors off someone this weekend.. Will see how many issues i encounter. I have a fix for hyperblink ready! but not sure whether my DRLs will work or not.... havent found the DRL fix online as all links are deceased!
