My oem is chrome plated.from the factory and i painted it black when i bought the car and still looks fresh with no chips. And that sees way more abuse than window trim. Is not like you,re gonna paint over the chrome. Thats what sanding and primer's for

Not quite sure. I spent a good portion of the day doing it but I also replaced the drivers seat and had to pull the rear apart to run wires into the trunk.

Just bought front and rear wheel bearings. Figured it would be good to do those while I am putting the new brake setup on. Just another set back in funds for getting the paint and body work done

Car hits the body shop next week. Waiting for my wheels to be done so I can put the brake kit on and then I'll get some updated pics up. Also put some Kinetix HFC's on and it really helped out the sound of the car. Also have Hotchkis sways waiting to go on now and some 350Evo Front Arms

Good news for me is I will be starting to piece together my LS Swap over the next few weeks/months...

Picked the car up today. Not extremely satisfied with the body shop. It will be going back to get fixed when I have time to be without the car again. Rear lip color and side skirts are off a bit in color. Front looks good to me though.

Everything looks good. Your color is a tricoat so its hard to match exact. Since your car is 9 yrs old the sun has taken its toll now the shop is trying to match new fresh paint with the old so its tuff.

Yeah this side looks ok but the rear lip and drivers side skirt are way off..almost like they used a different color paint then the rest. The fitment was also a little off on the bumper, I need to shave it a little around the side marker before I get it redone

could be from a couple of different factors. Hopefully they got complete coverage with the white base as its really transparent and 2nd is that with each pass of the pearl overlay with will change the color. Even different clears will affect the color depending on the uv protectant in it or just how yellow the clear is. The shop should have testfitted everything before paint though imo
