DPE S-10 Wheels on 2007 Sedan ...
This is another project I am finishing up for my 07.
I picked up my set of DPE wheels this week. They are S10’s with brushed aluminum center and chrome lips. 20x8.5 front 20x10 rear These wheels are also set up with the correct back spacing on the faces to accommodate big brakes. They were also drilled out in back for mounting the stock TMPS. The original goal is to try for 285 tires in the rear. My car is lowered on Eibach Pro with the rear camber corrected into spec with the Eibach camber kit (which makes this a challenge). I wanted to take things slow to make sure they are done right. As such, I coordinated my tire purchase with my nephew who has a coupe. His rear tires needed replacing and he just happened to have Michelin Pilot XGT in 285/30/20. I decided to put those on the rear of my car to see if it would work by driving around on them to see if I could get them to rub. If they rubbed, I would just go to 275s for the rear. Before we met up at KE Tires in El Monte to do install, I had to stop by e-autosport which also happens to be in El Monte to pick up some Rays Engineering lug nuts. The tires were mounted, balanced, and SLOWLY lowered to the ground with much anticipation. Everything looked good, so I drove the car back home with no rubbing. I know of a “smooth” but good size dip near my house to test out the rear. It’s not an “abrupt” dip so I knew I would not bottom out. Well, I took the dip pretty fast and am pretty sure I got the rear springs loaded up good. Still no rubbing. Needless to say, I made the call back to KE Tires and ordered up a set of Toyo T1R – 245/35 for the front and 285/30 for the rear. I originally wanted Falken FK452, but the 285s are on national backorder. Hopefully, the new T1Rs with full tread will still work as well as the Michelins did. And before I get asked for pictures … ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Perfect Stance.
So you get TMPS Swapped? How much for wheels? Love the setup!

Not too shabby at all! I'm usually not fond of 20s but those look really in place. Good job!

Nice choice in wheels. Can't wait to see all the wheels installed.
My 20" DPE R16's are coming next week and I will have it on Friday. Good to hear you're not rubbing. I was worried about fitting 275/30/20 with the same offsets.

Been waiting to see what kind of wheels you'd choose - very nice! Your threads on wheels and springs/camber have all been very helpful with me making choices for my car. Thanks again and glad to see its all coming together

Thanks ... I like the R16s as well. 275 will be no problem at all on a 10" with the same offest. BTW ... they now have an ST-7 design that have the SAME spoke pattern as the stock wheels for those of you that are interested. You can find pictures on their website. Now you guys don't have excuses for not upgrading!
I also haven't declared total victory yet ... there is still an outside chance the T1R's with full tread might fit differently. I also noticed that even with our "rolled" fenders, the inside fender lliner on my drivers side is possibly slightly loose. It is not as tight against the inner sheet metal as the passenger's side, but there is still no rubbing. I'm still going to have Infiniti check it out though because I want all the clearance I can get. Checking the rear fender liner is easy ... stick your fingers into the top of the rear fender well and you will feel the "felt like" fender liner. Try to push it against the inner sheetmetal of the fender. In my case, the liner moved about 1/2 inch on the drivers side, but did not move at all on the passenger's side. Anyone else getting as much movement? Again, this maybe nothing, but I'm going to try to get the driver's side liner snugged up against the sheet metal. Good luck on your wheels Quote:

I learned the hard way on my 1st set 3 months ago. Had to run out and buy tuner lugs. I had 19" DPE LS5's and felt the 19's were too small and sold them.

Lookin' good! Any way to even out the stance in the front, so the wheels are flush w/ the fender like the rears? Clearly too late to get different offsets, but maybe some 10mm spacers? Just a suggestion. Looks freaking awesome...nice big tires in the rear...me likey.

ok back to the subject.. do you think those wheels will fit/rub w/o the camber kit? or do you think you'd have to run 275's to avoid rubbing??
