Exotic Speed R1-T with Motordyne XYZ

I recently installed the Exotic Speed R1-T PWR-Si which is a Y-back system and paired it with a Motordyne XYZ pipe + Resonator module. I have had the exhaust on the car now for a couple weeks and it was the sound I have been looking for! Now I have not had the time to take pictures partly due to this nasty weather we have been getting here on the east coast but I am "borrowing" the below pictures for reference.

The PWR-Si version is considered the quieter version in comparison with the PWR version which was just released. The exhaust comes with a 3inch stainless steel mid-pipe with titanium resonator. This pairs up with the dual muffler section which has stainless steel piping and titanium mufflers and tips. The design is very very similar to the Amuse R1 Titan and some would consider this as a much more affordable replica of that exhaust. The craftsmanship and welds look very nice and appears to be a very good quality exhaust. There were no fitment issues at all when installing and it bolted right up to the Motordyne XYZ pipe. The only problem I have with this exhaust is the tips...I mean look at them...they are freakin blue! which I'm sure would look great on a blue car but I'm just not really feeling it on my DG coupe. There is now the option to have either stainless steel or just burnt ends of the tips but I would like to have a dual-wall or rolled tip instead.

Now the Motordyne XYZ pipe has really impressed me as well. The craftsmanship is great and also had no problems with fitment. The ability to easily swap out a resonator/straight pipe/HFC is a great bonus that I am sure will come in handy for me down the road...come on tony and hurry up and release those damn test pipes of yours!!

Now for the sound clip comparison...

My car:
2006 G35 Coupe 6MT (Rev-up)
Motordyne MREV2
Motordyne 5/16 spacer
JWT Pop-Charger

The before clip is my car with the above mods, the after clip consist of the above mods with the Motordyne XYZ pipe + Resonator module and the Exotic Speed R1-T PWR-Si.

Before audio clip

After audio clip

EDIT: Almost forgot to comment on the power increase lol. There is a very noticeable increase in performance that came with the install of this exhaust. In comparison to my car beforehand, it seems to breath a lot better and really wants to go when you step on it. There is also a very nice growl to the exhaust upwards of 4k RPM and I plan on making more sound clips inside the car and under WOT.

Update:
Additional sound clips from R1-T PWR edition curtsy of Rhino_111

UPDATE:
sound clip with FI resonated test pipes installed

Nice review. I'm a big fan of the look of this exhaust. I was pretty sold on the HKS knock off because of the price point, but I can't get over how good this exhaust sounds. Be sure to post up some pics of your car once you get a chance!

Sounds good. Not sure if that is a good selection if you want to go FI.

sounds good, I'd be curious to hear it with the xyz-straight-thru extension as opposed to the resonated like you have.

Huh....my Exoticspeed R1-T system is a catback system. Guess it is just the way you order it. Love the Exoticspeed Y pipe.

They just recently started selling the y-pipe as part of the system. Either way, I prefer the XYZ pipe

^do you have any sound clips of your setup?

no i don't. My car is in storage right now for the winter but I will put some clips together as soon as the weather breaks. I also have headers and hfcs on the system.

nice! I'm really curious as to what that sounds like.

on a side note: I just got word from exotic speed they will soon be releasing dual wall tips which can replace the ones pictured above with little effort involved. I cannot wait for the new tips!!!

I like it a lot! I originally had the si model with stock y-pipe. I found it too tame and quiet. (Sounds better with an aftermarket ypipe like your motordyne! Or the exoticspeed). I then got the pwr model with exotic speed y-pipe and it sounds 10x bette than what I had. I made a new video of it. Ill post the link later, but its on my youtube under the same username.
