Tokico D-Spec Springs & Shocks
Seems like a lot of people are using the Tokico D-Spec shocks, but what about the springs? Anyone have 'em? I recently found these available on ebay:

Nice, did you get the ones for the g35 or 350? also, any info on spring rates? and if they are linear or progressive? thanks!
Edit: it looks like what is listed on everythingg35.com is just the shocks, i was asking about the tokico springs. i just placed a call to tokico to try to find out the above info, they are supposed to call me back in case anyone else i curious. i know a post was made about the subject a couple months ago, but doesn't look like anyone obtained that info.

Well, I just got a call back from Ray with Tokico and he gave me the following specs:
G35 - DSK507 - 240f/300r - Linear Springs
350Z - DSK512 - 375f/375r - Linear Springs
The spring rate on the G35 seems way low, I asked him again and he said that was the info he had, so maybe the ones for the 350 would be the way to go. Both are suppsed to lower 1.2inches, but if you put the one from the 350 on it would be like 1.7 correct? Anyone care to give their opinions on how well this setup might work? Thanks

sin4me.. good job on the info. I'm not surprised the G spring rates are that soft. I'm sure it was done for comfort reasons since that is equated with luxury cars. The Z spring rates seem good but when used on a G coupe would be pretty low and would make a sedan drop about 2+ inches. Way too low for my tastes.

Weird, I just finished doing the math when I came across the previous reply. I have the original sport OEM suspension (314/342) and came up with the following numbers:
Tokico D-Spec G35 Springs (linear)
240/300 F-30% R-14%
Transfer +16% roll stiffness to front
Tokico D-Spec 350Z Springs (linear)
375/375 F+19% R+10%
Transfer +9% roll stiffness to front
Of course, I suck at math so feel free to say how i screwed up, lol.

240/300 F-30% R-14%

Very interesting and disappointing at the same time. At 375lbs that's now the stiffest known linear lowering spring in the front* for the G or Z. But, why did they have to give it a 1.2" Z drop, meaning a 1.7" G35 coupe drop and gulp,....a 2.2" sedan drop oh well for those of us that don't want to be dropped that low, pay for expensive alignment fixes or have a ton of bumpsteer.
Not really surprised on the coupe rates, we see the aftermarket all over the map on these car's rate wise, just another case of the same. Thankfully we know that the shocks themselves are really good.

knowing how bad the S-tech's rear linear 274lbs/in was, the 300 sounds
just as bad. 240 on the front... very bad move by Tokico.

Are there any issues with bottoming out like the stock shocks with your setup?
I've experienced bottoming out to the stops a few times and I thought the 350Z ones would be shorter travel. If you have installed the G35 ones without problems then I'll probably go with same setup.
Any one else running DSP-7's with Eibach's on a sedan with no issues??
