Talking My mod thread. ;-D

Whats goin on guys, so i finally paid off my car in a year of buying it and ready to get some mods on my G!

I figured instead of making this a thread for just my 1st mods, i will make it my general mod thread, so when i have more mods done, i can just update this thread, waddaya think?

So the first items on the list are balcking out the heads and tinting the tails!

THANKS TO MY MAIN MAN PHANTOM617. Awesome work!

Here are the pics. I hope you like em!

So the lip is on! Bought it from Tony@CircleInfiniti. They had the cheapest price available out there. Thanks a lot to one of the True Gs out there: Aeson! It wouldnt have been possible without him. thanks man! looks great!

Spoiler Install!

Got it from these guys, and their color matching was to the T! I dont know if the pics below do any justice (it was couldy, and my car was dirty) but the color is the exact same thing. For people in MA, i got it installed at the North Andover Auto Body for a really good price, so highly recommend them for any bodywork. here are the pics!

so i finally ended up pulling the trigger on the BlackTop Aero Roof Spoiler, Thanks to a great price by ravspec heregot it painted for 80 bucks, and now here it is!

got caught taking my own pics..;-P

Waddaya think?

Got my autokits rear diffuser on! got it color matched to my ride...

So i finally got the LED side mirrors installed! Hope you like em! ;-D

FINALLY! ;-D

No i am not lowering and yes i like how the calipers look. ;-)

r2c Intake! damn does it sound good! And my new fav color is black chrome..;-P

Hotchkis! havent done enough driving yet to tell you the difference, i am being too **** about denting my rims right now!

now u see it, now u dont :P

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED ME WITH deciding the RIMS! MUCHA OBRIGADO!

I will be updating this thread as i get the mods done. Hope you enjoy my pics!

So i got the invisicord (http://www.invisicord.com) for my 07 g35x sedan. I got the multiconnector pack for future detectors. It was 20 bucks including S&H. Here are the pics. So easy a caveman can do it! ;-P

Here is the pic of what i got in the mail. For the tips, YELLOW IS 12V, BLACK IS GROUND.

Here is the rear view mirror cable. There are 3 wires going into the connector plug. Grey, Black and Brown. The Brown is 12V, Black is Ground, and the Grey is unused in this installation. Here is what it looks like:

Here is how it is connected.
Stick the Yellow invisicord in the slot where the Brown wire goes.
Stick the Black invisicord in the slot where the Black wire goes. You can see it below. Compare it with the previous pic above:

Be careful when you stick the pins in, hold around the pins by your thumb and index finger and just slowly lodge it in. I twisted it around the rear view cable once.

For safety purposes, install this with your car turned off. Turn it on and Voila!

Thats the best place i could find for my detector, i wish i could use a mounting holder that goes around the rear view mirror piece like i have seen in some of the other installations. Oh well! Have fun! I love the clean look now. Highly recommend it for all detector users! ;-D

p.s. i know i haveta calibrate my detector..

Car looks nice! orange peel is prominent in the tails though, its the uneven texture of the paint that looks like ... well much like an orange peel. The headlights and radar install looks good though and oongrats on paying off the car.

yeah he means rough surface/not smooth. I don't dig the tails as well, and kinda too dark for my taste. But I do love the blacked-out headlights bro So no clear coat? just a matte black look?
I thought you were gonna do all this yourself, but I guess Phantom did all the mods. Anyway it doesn't matter the lights look pretty good.

Perhaps, but in some pics the tails have more shine the the other. Still not glass like smooth, but not bad at all. Still not my style to tint them that dark but whatever suits you

Also what's up with just one letter G there??? looks weird by itself like in the middle of nowhere lol

yes shifting to the right would look better, but still kinda looks weird by itself you know.

Also take some farther away pics, all yours are like couple of feet away. Give it some distance
