2008 G35 Sedan - Two dead green wires in SMJ connector / BCM symptoms
2008 Infiniti G35 sedan, 228k miles, VQ35HR.
Symptoms: P0603, door locks don't auto lock while driving, random beep when opening door, dash and clock dimmed, CEL intermittent.
Already checked/replaced: battery clamps, alternator, battery voltage good, engine to chassis ground good, chassis to body ground good.
What I found: BCM in passenger footwell looks clean, no water damage. Found SMJ connector in passenger footwell with 3 plugs (white, gray, green). Tested voltage on terminals — two green wires showing 0v, one in white plug, one in gray plug. Bottom ground bolt in footwell tested good. SMJ won't unplug.
Not sure if these dead wires are related to the codes or symptoms at all — still learning. Any help figuring out what these green wires control and whether this could be causing the issues above would be appreciated. BCM looks fine. Checked the voltage on the grounding at bottom all fine red circles two green wires show 0 voltage
