Wound up with a mangled valve timing control solenoid connector after shredding a supercharger belt. Talked w/Nissan and Infiniti....they don't offer an OEM electrical connector replacement...simply the entire engine harness.

Here is the connector:





Anyone have an idea where to cross reference this connector aftermarket so I can replace it?

Here is the identical connector on the other side of the engine for the other valve timing solenoid.....



However, plugging those p/ns into Google doesn't seem to given any information on the connector.

Weather pack connector. If you have access to some usable length of wire you can replace both sides. It may even be comparable to what is there.

 

This connector plugs into the variable valve solenoid....no changing the other 'side'....



I've sent emails and photos off to these guys to see if they can cross reference the p/ns on the connector:

Salvage yard, search for maxima, Altima, g with a vq and snip off the connector??

 

It might come down to that if I can't find a new one........

 

I have an engine wiring harness available that I have been chopping up... do you need the harness side or the component side?

glad it worked out for you, but be thankful you didn't fry your ECU as has happened to a handful other people when a S/C belt takes out that connector

 

I hadn't heard about that one....so indeed, I got lucky.

Only one wire had the insulation stripped and luckily it apparently didn't ground out. It might be worth looking at fabricating up a guard to keep a shredding belt from eating that connector again in the future.
