Destination charge going up $15 for G
Effective 3/19, it will now be $715 instead of $700.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm sure they've bumped it on all Nissans and Infinities--at least this has been the case with similar bumps in the past. Sticker prices also usually go up $50 to $200, depending on the model and how well it has been selling. This isn't the case this time?
Once upon a time the destination charges on Japanese cars were a lot lower than those on American cars. But they've steadily closed the gap.
Back in 1992, the destination charge on Infinitis was $385. This was even the case on the $47000 Q45a. That on a 1992 Cadillac Seville: $600.
Fast forward to 2007, and we're looking at $715 on an Infiniti, and $745 on a Cadillac.
The attractive thing about destination charges for the manufacturer: the dealer doesn't get a cent of it. It all goes to the factory, and no discounts ever touch it.
