Lightbulb Houston Meet: 07/15/06 G35 & Z's come on out.

Everyone,

Here is something that a 350Z person (Silvrhand) posted on our website. The Z people and us G people are trying to get monthly meetings going.

This meet with be on the SE side of town. Not far from the La Porte, Sylvan Beach Park areas. It will be a location where we could take photos of our vehicles AND as a group of both models.

Please read the information that Silvrand posted and let me know if you have any questions.

Stephen

Will someone who knows what they are doing and has a good camera be taking pics?

Also, do you need models? I could bring one of my former students (I teach CC) who is a very good friend of mine and is extremely hot. I would also bring my fiance (for shots of my car) who is also pretty easy on the eyes.

I would need someone to pic up my student, since my fiance would get jealous if I take her in the same car.

I do not know a good photographer, but if we frequent the event then we can definetly arrange for one to show up and get some really nice shots. I'm just trying to get this started as we don't really have a lot of meets in Houston between the two sites (g35driver.com/my350z.com)

So in essence I'm trying to start something from scratch

Oh, I was under the impression that we had someone who was going to take pics.

If we get enough people we could do something like that, right now we only have about 7 people that look like they are interested. To get someone out there with that few of cars we'd have to pay them.

I'm sure we can find alternative spots something more central or west side next time, this is just the only place I know that serves our purpose at this time.

Well,

I'm trying to gauge interest, the first meet won't have a lot but if we have a lot of interest we can start pulling in vendors and other people as well. But there *HAS* to be interest and what interest I'm getting now seems to be suprisingly low.

This seems to be persistent across the boad for Houston, I'm not sure why we can't get people to come out in Houston yet.

Looks like finally people are coming out of the woodwork now for this. I have updated the thread over on my350z.com.

Come on out everyone, it looks like we are going to have a really nice turnout.
