Anyone know where I can find some black B pillar covers?

The dealership scratched one of mine and they have offered to fix it but it has to go to paint. They said that the only way to get the OEM B Pillar plate is to buy the entire door.

Shouldn't the dealer replace the door for you if that's the only way to fix it?

Nothing wrong really seems like overkill. But I guess if the paint work isn't done well then it could become a problem. Just seems to me this should be something that should be field replaceable.

 

Frankly, I am just glad that they are engaging me in a psotive manner about this. Not once did they suggest that maybe they didnt do it.

nope a Pillar CAN be ordered seperately.. this is from personal experiece.. have a friend here with lambo doors and pushed his door up against the pillar and took out a piece.. we were able to buy another pilliar through infiniti

btw it comes painted

 

was it for an 05 Sedan? My SA is saying they can't be ordered a la carte. If you have a part number I would really really appreciate the hook up.
