utec TUNED!

Finally had a chance to get my car tuned.. the baseline number is with stillen catback, dc headers, spacers, and the stillen intake. As you can see it was cut a little short but overall the tune netted me about 14-18 hp so overall im happy thanks to Dave and Juan @Function Tuned Also DTM Motorsports. Great bunch of guys
Here is the dyno on a AWD Mustand Dyno

its a little hard to see but the baseline numbers were 186 awhp 196 tq
and after the tune it is 204 awhp and 193 tq

Wow do awd cars loose 1/3 of their power in the drivetrain?? Seems like a lot.

I believe the mustang and dynojets will show different results.

I'm wondering if the OP took out the awd fuse, would that allow him to dyno on a normal dyno.

But I'm getting he would want to keep track of the differences in hp/torque on the same dyno now.

its the mustang dyno.

I took a stock 06 6mt sedan with my 05x + stillen intake and summer tires. We dont loose that much power

no i dont have the a/f graphs but i might be able to try to get it from them, i was also confused on why the numbers are so low but there might be something wrong with the dyno conditions but overall the tune was good.

nice gains but those are really low #'s for a mustang dyno. A couple friends of mine dyno'd a z and g coupe on a dyno dynamics mustang dyno and their #'s were really high

i am getting a utec installed next week and will be tuned on a dyno jet. ill post results then

Interesting lovechild. Those are completely different types of dynos.

Good stuff. It looks like you picked up a little bit of usable power and torque on the high end.

I think mustang dynos tend to run the high side in comparison to other dynos. Not sure why your baseline numbers are so low. What's interesting is, there's not much gain prior to 5.3k rpms. Why was the baseline dyno cut off at 6k rpms? Hard to tell what you gained after that.

mustang dynos are typically 18% lower than dynojets, i know this because after people tune their cars on the mustangs, they bring it to me to dyno on my dynojet.

570 hp mustang equals 700 plus on my dyno..
